i am back again! and here to stay!

I haven't been doing a good job at maintaining this blog have I? When I started this blog I was ready to take on the blogging world and I made the promise that I would post at least 3 times a week. I soon realized I couldn't keep up with my promise and that it probably wasn't the right time for me to blog. One week after starting paminthemiddle I also started my last and by far hardest quarter of high school. With studying for ap exams, trying to get all my assignments in, and trying to keep ahead of all the important deadlines for graduation I honestly had no time for the blog. But now that graduation is far behind and a new cycle is starting in my life I feel like I am finally ready to get back into blogging (and hopefully this time I am here to stay).

So what’s different now? Well, let me tell you. I am finally free of school but since I am taking a year off between high school and college I want to keep practicing my writing abilities. I will have work, but not homework so I will definitely have time for the blog. I won’t promise to publish on a schedule, even though I do plan to create a schedule for myself (I love planning stuff) I won’t share it because it will be less pressure and I won’t feel as bad if I don’t get to posting one day. With the time I took from writing I gained some experience and had time to plan some posts and brainstorm for post ideas.

 

With all those little changes I hope to maintain this blog and make it my own. This is what I love after all. So I hope you stick with me as I embark (again haha) on a blogging journey.

Hello there!

I'm Pam and this is my blog! (I finally got one) I have been wanting to start a blog for years, and as a future journalism major and a writing junkie I have decided to ignore the doubts and to take on the adventure that is maintaining a blog. Since I'm doing this mainly to practice for my journalism years and to have fun, these first few posts (hopefully only the first ones) will be pretty terrible and I'm sorry in advanced if some of them are hurtful to read. But lets get back to the introductions, like I said I'm Pam I am graduating this year and I will be taking a year off between high school and college, which is another reason to why I started this blog, so that I can reinforce my writing skills and so that I have something to do. So, lets party because this is a new blog!!

Some topics that you could find in "Pam in the middle" are my favorites (music, TV, YouTube, food, etc.), some insights as to what I'm doing in my life, my opinion on worldly topics (again could be on anything), lists and tips, basically all the crazy things that pop into my mind you will read here. This blog is like getting a little insight into my mind :)
I will try to post at least three times a week, though its not a promise, hopefully I'll be able to keep my procrastination away (fingers crossed).

This is quite a short post, but its also my first one, and I know it is quite a mess, but I hope to improve as I go.
